Private Practice Dental Offices

Local dental offices are the #1 location where CHCI students begin their careers.  We have recently placed alumni in dental offices in Exton, Downingtown, Media, Bryn Mawr, Coatesville, and the Philadelphia area.  

Lack of experience can be a barrier to gaining employment. We offer training to help you gain the experience you will need to succeed as an assistant.

Local Group Practices 

Group practices are generally defined as having more than one location. Imagine an office that has a dental practice in Honey Brook and a location in Wayne, and you will understand the concept of a "group dental practice" (also called DSO or Dental Service Organization). These practices often offer the ability to commute between offices.

Local Dental Specialty Offices

This can include offices that have particular dental specialties, such as Orthodontics, General Dentistry, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Pedodontics.  Often students are attracted to a particular dental specialty in the area. There are many dental specialty offices around Exton and West Chester, Philadlephia, Lancaster and York.

Dental Product Corporations 

Some students decide they want to use their dental knowledge for other positions such as:

• Dental product sales to offices

• Dental laboratory technician 

• Front desk coordinator, insurance coordinator
